Laura is thrilled to join Charisma Dance Studio this year, bringing with her a rich family legacy in percussive dance. Her journey began at the age of 4 in her grandmother's studio, where she started taking American clogging as a young child. She quickly expanded her passion into tap dancing, a love that has only deepened over the years.Laura earned her Bachelor's degree in Dance with a minor in Family Studies from BYU, where she was a member of the BYU Ballroom Touring Company. During her time with the company, she was proud to pioneer a principal tap dancer role in their show, “Rhythm”. She now enjoys attending tap festivals each year, enriching her abilities to teach and perform tap dancing. 

With 12 years of teaching experience, Laura is deeply committed to her students’ growth and finds immense joy in watching them succeed. When she's not dancing, Laura loves spending quality time with her family, enjoying the music of Michael Bublé, or exploring the outdoors.
