MaKayla Christiansen started dancing when she was only 2 years old and has loved it ever since! Through out her many years of training she has excelled in all styles of dance, but specializes in Hip-Hop & Contemporary. In High School, she was Provo High’s Dance Company President as well as Dance Sterling Scholar. She continues to choreograph and teach for Provo High School’s Dance Department. She also attended UVU and was on their hip-hop company called MOS.A.I.C. From that opportunity she has been able to take classes from many famous choreographers and performers in the entertainment industry.She has also trained at conventions like Hip-Hop Utah and Millennium Dance Complex in L.A. Since becoming an instructor MaKayla has had many of her routines win overall awards. MaKayla really pushes for more dancers to be trained in all the different styles of hip-hop and wants to see her students find the love and joy for the style like she has. MaKayla is known for her explosive and hard hitting hip-hop choreography as well as her innovative contemporary choreography. She loves all of the students she gets to teach and really wants to see them progress and grow into amazing dancers and people.  She can’t wait to work with you and all the amazing dancers she will get to meet in the future.
