Emma Wadsworth
Emma has always had a love for dance and music. She was introduced to Classical Ballet as a form of Physical therapy at the young age of 2 when her clumsiness was constantly getting her injured. She started training at Classical Ballet Academy under the direction of Jennie Creer-King, where she trained for over a decade with her. Later on Emma changed studios and started dancing for Ballet West Academy Barbara Barrington Jones Family foundation under Maricar Drillon along with former instructors. Emma's early dancing years started with classical ballet but she later became familiar with contemporary, lyrical, neoclassical ballet, jazz, and ballroom. Emma received multiple scholarships throughout her training as well as many dancing and performing opportunities. Emma danced on her High school dance company through junior high as well as highschool, and formerly competed on a National Ballroom Team. Her senior year of high school she competed in the Youth American Grand Prix and was invited to finals in New York City. Emma has a love for Ballet as well as teaching dance with kids who have special needs. Emma started teaching special needs classes when she was 12 at Ballet West Academy, and continued throughout her high school years. Emma currently teaches a special needs dance class and loves it! After graduating high school Emma started working at The Dance Spot as the head ballet teacher, while also teaching at En Pointe School of Ballet. She is now very happy to join Charisma Studio and will be teaching ballet, recreational classes and prek combo classes. When Emma is not teaching dance or dancing herself, she enjoys anything outdoors or with her family!
