Katey Stolle started dancing at 3 years old. She first fell in love with ballet but went on to train extensively in various styles including: tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, acro/tumbling, cheer, and ballroom. She grew up competing throughout Utah and over the years has had several opportunities to assist ballet intensives, compete at a national level, and train with world class professionals. She has also won several scholarships attending dance conventions like NRG Dance Project, Jump, and Nuvo. In high school she loved being involved with her school teams as she was President of Provo High’s Varsity Ballroom Dance Company, Vice President of Provo HS Dance Company, and a member of Junior Varsity Cheer. While she loves performing and competing she has also found a love for teaching and choreography. She has choreographed several pieces for Provo High’s dance teams, Alta High school, and studios in UT and WA. She is currently working towards a degree in Dance at Brigham Young University. Along with her studies at BYU, Katey travels, performs, and competes as a member of their Ballroom Dance Touring Company. She toured with them throughout Europe in 2022 and just recently came home from England with the title for the 2023 Blackpool British Formation Championships in the Latin Division. Katey is also the reigning U.S. National Cabaret Champion. Katey is excited to share her love for dance with Charisma Studio!
