Amy Palenthorpe is a certified CDA (Childhood Development Association) preschool teacher through Head Start. She is also excited to implement the Montessori Method of academic teaching as laid out through the Charisma Kids Preschool curriculum!  She has 15 years of experience in teaching preschool, creative movement, ballet and tumbling. She is also a trained musician (3 yrs as a music major at U of U) and is excited to share her knowledge of music, dance movement, & tumbling along with academics of course,  with our preschool children! Amy is the mother of a blended family of 12 children and has had plenty of experience in loving, caring & guiding children to learn proper behavior and also in finding their full potential in learning about themselves, & the world around them! Amy speaks basic conversational Spanish and is able to teach Spanish speaking children. She is a nationally certified ASL interpreter and will be implementing sign language in her classes as well. She is also trained as a Special Ed teacher and knows how to find the best way to reach each child and their individual needs.  We are so excited & grateful to have this multi-talented and wonderfully qualified teacher -Miss Amy-at Charisma Kids Preschool!
